• You can help by joining the group, attending committee meetings or volunteering to help organise our regular fundraising events. The Group meets on the first Monday of each month in the Parish Hall at 7:30pm except in July and August.

• If you do not have time to attend meetings then please try to come along to the one of the several fundraising events organised within the parish and support us by making a donation and including gift aid.

• You might also consider setting up a standing order allowing you to make a regular contribution to the funds which go to support the work of our beneficiaries . Standing Orders are particularly helpful in terms of our planning and financial commitments to our beneficiaries.

• Our group has been fortunate to have received generous funding in recent years through a few legacies which have added significantly to the overall money raised.

• All money raised by the One World Group goes directly to our beneficiaries to support their work in developing countries, often in communities facing serious deprivation and hardship.
• The men and women engaged in this invaluable work are setting up programmes providing clean water, food and shelter and developing health and education programmes for very impoverished people. Some are also committed to working to combat the evils of human trafficking and to protecting and empowering vulnerable women and girls.
